Komyozenji Temple is a beautiful Zen temple located in Dazaifu town, just a little way from Fukuoka. This temple is just opposite of another famous Zen temple called Tenmangu Shrine. Komyozenji Temple of Fukuoka was built during the Kamakura Era in Japan, around 1275AD. Kamakura Era lasted from 1185AD to 1333AD and is famous because of Kamakura Shogunate – a notable ruler of Japan.

The colors of the garden during fall season are absolutely fascinating. To reach the garden you will just have to walk for five minutes from Nishitetsu Dazaifu Station.
