Bocconi is a well designed European style restaurant inspired by the Italians. It is not really a bar or a pub in the true sense of the term. Live music is not played here, nor will you find a DJ. The eating experience is enhanced by the spacious glass conservatory style dining room which looks on to a small garden. The crowd is very sophisticated and mainly comprises of families planning to have a nice meal. Young executives also come here to enjoy a hearty meal.

Some of the dishes that you can enjoy at the Bocconi in Kyoto include large pasta dishes. The pasta dishes are designed for two persons so it is always advisable that whenever you go to the restaurant you go in groups. Cakes and coffee are served in the afternoon.
