Kodomo-no-Kuni, Yokohama is a children's amusement park, sprawling over an area of 976,000 square meters. The park offers an array of world class rides and other water activities like rowing, pedal boats, and fishing with nets. Open from mid July to late August, Kodomo-no-Kuni, Yokohama has outdoor swimming pools and several waterslides. There is a 110 meter slide in the water park, which is the longest in Yokohama city. This children's park was formerly an ammunition bunker. To commemorate the wedding anniversary of the Emperor Heisei, this park was opened on 5th of May, 1960.

The most popular attractions of Kodomo-no-Kuni are its Zoo and the working Dairy Farm. With birds, sheep, goats, deer, rabbits and guinea pigs, the Zoo is very popular among the kids. The dairy farm, besides demonstrating the process of milking, also sells pure milk and homemade dairy ice creams. The Kodomo-no-Kuni also has a bike path and a skating rink. Strollers can be rented inside the park for the toddlers and infants.

The Kodomo-no-Kuni, Yokohama is easily accessible from Nagatsuta station. Kodomo-no-Kuni is the nearest railway station, from where it's just a three minutes walk to the park. By road it's a ten minutes drive from Tana via Route 246. The park remains closed on Mondays and other national holidays.
