Squash is a favorite sport amongst the people of the Kuala Lumpur and hence the National Squash Center has emerged as one of the major sports venue of the city.

The National Squash Center is a sports venue of international standards, which played host to the 1998 Commonwealth Games. It is the largest squash stadiums of the world and is located close to the National Stadium. The stadium is fully air-conditioned and has a total of 10 courts. These courts can be converted into eight-double courts. The walls of the court are mobile and can be move to form a much bigger court that can be used for various purposes. The eleventh court, which is located in the center, has glass walls and a seating capacity of 1000. The training courts can accommodate around 70 to 80 spectators.

The National Squash Center occupies a total of 7030 square meters. The court has a changing room for the players, a lounge exclusively meant for the players, a cafeteria and a total of twenty lounges for the visitors. The court also has a conference room, where a large number of seminars and meetings are held. The sports venue also has a medical center from where one can get all sort of medical assistance that one may require.

The center has a huge alpha-numeric scoreboard located in the central court while the other courts have smaller scoreboards located in the corners. The facilities and features available in this court make it one of the most famous squash centers of the world.
