How to reach Penang hill: The nearest station is Air Itam. From Georgetown, take a Transit Link bus No 1, or No 101, or Lim Seng bus No 91, or minibus No 21 from Lebuh Chulia to the Air Itam Terminal. You can reach the top by the funicular at the railway station. Various trekking trails like Moongate Trail, trail from Air Itam Dam to Tiger Hill, trail from Hye Keat Estate and trail from the Municipal Park (formerly Youth Park) from the lower terrains take you to Penang Hill.
