Fez in Morocco is a very populous land in Morocco. Morocco itself is highly populous and is ranked only after Egypt, Sudan and of course Algeria. The population in Fez comprises mainly of Sunnis, Berbers or mixed. Large sections of the Fez population are direct descendants of Berber origin while Arabs are the second largest group ranked in terms of the ethnicity. Fez has a population of 1,012,000, Meknes has a population of 750,000 and Tangier has a population of 554,000. Fez has a population of 1 million and it is the religious hub of Morocco. Fez has a strong population of the Jewish community as well as Christian minorities. Fez is separated into three parts, Fes el Bali, Fes -Jdid and the Ville Nouvelle which is actually the newly built section of Fes and all these places are densely populated.
