- The Parade attracts over 250,000 people, 4,000 participants and 280 creations of Christmas magic over a 2.2km route.
- The parade route follows Mayoral Drive, Queen Street, Customs Street West and Albert Street.
- If the weather is bad, the cancellation is announced on Newstalk ZB after 10am on the day. The parade will goes ahead in light rain.
- Collectors ask the waiting crowds prior to the start of the Parade for a gold coin donation to support Koru Care.
- Free Parking is available at the Auckland City Car Parks.
- Stagecoach Group Pass is a one-day pass for up to four people traveling together. It can be used from 9am weekdays or all-day weekends and public holidays on all Stagecoach and Link buses.
