The Arrow River is a small, icy cold river in Otago, New Zealand. The Arrow River is the tributary of the Kawarau River, which flows eastwards for about 60 kms till it reaches the Lake Dunstan. At the western bank of Arrow River, lies the Arrowtown between the western slope of the Crown Range and the head of the Frankton arm of Lake Wakatipu.Arrow River in New Zealand has been made famous by the gold deposits. The discovery of gold in the Arrow River led to the influx of numerous miners into the district. a large number of people became aware and about 230 lbs of gold was recovered!
