The Paradise valley Springs in New Zealand first began in the year 1939, as a trout sanctuary. With Stuart and John Hamlett purchasing the land of the park, it has received major facelift in the coming years. The extraordinary evolution done to the Paradise Valley Springs has made it a world famous attraction.

The Stuart Family lives within the park area, which makes it all the more interesting to the tourists. As a part of the evolving process eleven acres of virgin bushlands was purchased and added to the park's property.

The Park is a flawless Wildlife Sanctuary set amidst the bushlands of New Zealand. Enjoy roaming about the walkways at your own pace and go on feeding the animals on your way.

Look out for the trout pools on your way. They will simply mesmerize you with the eel and trout population. Apart from the fishes you may come across the Thars and the Wallabies moving here and there.

The one hundred and fifty meter bushwalk amidst fern, Tawa trees, vines and other plants is exciting. You can have a guide or its better savor the isolation.

Feeding the trouts is the most popular activity in the park. You can get hold of both trout and animal food which you can feed the birds and animals at the Coffe Shop of the Paradise Valley Springs.

The Spring of Te Waireka is the most admirable spot of the park. Te Waireka means sweet water. Crystal clear spring water is bottled and sold to the visitors. A bottling plant has been established within the park premises in 2003.

Viewers are welcome to visit the plant and have a first hand knowledge on the processing of mineral water. The Spring was said to have healing qualities according to the Maori legends.

And lastly don't miss the playful lion brigade of the paradise valley Spring. The breathtaking spectacle of lion feeding is an unique experience.
