INTRODUCTION:
Once a sleeping fishing village, is now the life of Philippines. Boracay with the three S’s – sand sea and sun is the paradise of the beach lovers. Starting from the candles and the Kerosene lamp before 1990 it is the largest visited tourist center of Philippines. Gone are the days when the mattress on the floors of the bamboo huts that provided the luxury of early travelers to spend a day off from the hustle and bustle of city life. Resorts offer a host of facilities that include hot and cold water shower, Air-conditioned rooms, Restaurant Kisosk, Electric supply of 220 volts 60 Hz. Accommodation in these resorts range between US$100 to US$150 per night. Boracay Plaza Beach Resort, Pink Patio Resort Boracay, Lorenzo’s Beach Resort, Lorenzo’s Grand Villa are some preferred choice of the tourists.

Then there are Cottages and Bungalows which also provide a healthy facility to its guests. These are budgeted accommodations in the range of US$50 to US$ 90.
The lodges are priced lowly and are quite economical for the low budgeted tourists. They are priced much less below US$20.

Tourists landing in Boracay will not have problem finding accommodation but it is advised that prior booking is done during the peak season to avoid hassles and enjoy the wonderful destination endowed by nature to Philippines.
