Singapore Pools is a legal lottery operator in Singapore which was established in 1968. Being the only legal operator it was established with an attempt to restrain illegal gambling. Singapore Pools is the only legal forum where betting and gambling is allowed.

Singapore Totalisator Board, a statutory board under the Ministry of Finance owns the Singapore Pools since May 2004. The revenue collected from the betting is used by this statutory board to utilize in worthy causes. It is their aim to oversee the clean and efficient working of the Singapore Turf Club as well as the Singapore Pools. It is under the domain of the board to ensure that all forms of gambling and betting are conducted honestly.

The Singapore Pools has contributed more than $ 12 million during the financial year 2005 and 2006 to the Community Chest. The money collected was used for social services like the betterment of the lives of as many as 360,000 people. The funds are used to make Singapore an economic and social community. Apart from social service the areas of support are towards, education, health, sports, art and culture.

To appreciate the efforts of Singapore Pools, the organization is awarded the SHARE Corporate Platinum Award.
