Armenian Church
The Armenian Church stands boldly to the pride of the people of Singapore because it had been the Oldest Church of Singapore for so long. The renowned architect named Colonel George Chapman was supposed to have designed it, and much to his glory, the Church still makes people remember him. This is due to the fact that Armenian Church is considered to be his magnum opus and had been devoted to Saint Gregory, who is considered as the light provider in the lives of men. The Armenian Church has also been designated as the National Monument. It is located at 60, Hill Street in Singapore and the best possible way to reach this place is to take the Hill Street direction after you reach the City Hall MRT Station.
Singapore had been originally inhabited by the Malay Tribes who were fishermen. After the Second World War, the Japanese took over the island and established a colony there. Therefore much of the Singapore culture is accredited to the infiltration of the colonizers who came inside the territory. Singapore has no Natural resource as such but if you come across the Armenian Church you shall feel that the entire Cultural reserve is ample to make up for this lack.
