The Haw Par Villa Theme Park in Singapore was constructed in the year 1937.The Tiger Balm King Aw Boon Haw initially built it as a magnificent residence for his younger brother Aw Boon Par. This was a token of his sign and gratitude for his brother. His brother had succeeded in creating a great amount of fortune for them with the analgesic balm. `This explains why the park was earlier known as the Tiger Balm Gardens. It was then converted to an entertainment park with the objective of instilling traditional Chinese values into the youngsters. The Haw Par Villa Theme Park in Singapore has an amazing collection of 1000 statues and 150 tableaux. The statues are mostly of men who have made a distinctive place for themselves in Chinese folklore, legends and history. With the help of the colorful tableaux, morality tales have been narrated.
