The original location of the Merlion Park in Singapore was at Esplanade Bridge. It is the main site for tourist attraction at Singapore. Today the original location has been shifted to somewhere else. It is adjacent to Fullerton.

The body of this statue consists of cement, while the skin has been made exclusively from porcelain plates. The eyes are made from small red teacups available at Singapore.
