Daejeon is a city which is full of plush cinema halls which runs both Korean and International movies throughout the year. There are multiplexes too which screens atleast eight to ten movies at a time. You can buy the tickets either from the ticket counters at the cinema halls or can sit back and relaxedly book them on the internet.

The MCV Academy is the biggest of all the multiplexes in Daejeon with sixty three screens. The Muliplex has a sitting capacity of one thousand two hundred and thirty five screens. One can also call up at 042- 242-1178 , and get the tickets booked. The place is mostly crowded in the weekends.

The CGV Daejeon is the multiplex with the largest sitting capacity in the city. The place can accommodate atleast two thousand and forty people at a time.

The Primus Cinema which is a multiplex with ten screens accommodates about two thousand thirty one spectators and has the most updated sound facilities in it.

Galleria Dongbaek 33 and Cinewe with five screens are also very swanky movie theaters of the city. If you are a tourist to Daejeon, you must visit one of these cinemas in order to get a feel of the real city life. May be the movie which runs in the cinema seem obscure to you because of the language but as you know that all these are muliplexes you can always hang around and pick some good stuff from the stores located there.

Beolbit, Sunsa Cinema , Zooland Cinema , Starsix Timeworld , Seora beol are some of the other major cinema halls of the city where one can have some fun at an affordable cost because the muliplexes are quite expensive. But for once if you are a tourist , then spend and enjoy being at one of the multiplexes.

Beolbit and Zooland Cinema has excellent facilities of car parking also. Apart from these Sindo , a double screened cinema is also a nice place to be with friends and family.
