The Wolmi Island festival is held in the island of Wolmi which is an island that has loads of tourism potential and people from Incheon and other parts of the Metropolitan region come to this island to enjoy the cool and refreshing sea breeze.
The Wolmi festival on the other hand is held in the Wolmi Island Street of Culture every September.
A variety of events are held in accordance with the street of Culture reputation of the festival and a variety of events are held in accordance to the festive spirits to inculcate the idea of excitement and freedom.
A variety of performances starting with Gilnori Festival performance by Pungmul group of folk music, dance contests, jazz performance, street performance, performance art, modern art performances.
All this performances fill up the island with rich cultural fragrances which attracts people from far and wide.

The island of Wolmi presents a unique ambience with the blue waters crashing against the water vessels, passenger ships, and tourist ships making a wonderful harmony. Another sight which brightens up the entire atmosphere is the choreographed dancing of the sea gulls that add to the natural beauty of the island.
The Wolmi Street of Culture extends for one whole kilometer the length and breadth of which are full of various cultural activities.
The festival doesn’t follow any strict hard and fast rule and a bit of chaos goes a long way in making the festival a hit.

The festival is an open space of freedom and it invites each and everyone to become a part of the festival with open arms. The whole festival is organized by Jungu-gu Office, Incheon Metropolitan City.

This festival is one of the top attractions of the whole place of Icheon attracting tourist from all over the country and beyond.
