When shopping is considered to be an art form in Seville or a serious business, you don’t need to boggle you mind deciding on where to shop in Seville. Seville is a shopper’s paradise!! Plazas Nueva, Magdalena, Encarnacion and San Francisco, with Calle Sierpes at its heart are the main shopping areas in Seville where you can shop. Barrio Santa Cruz is dotted with individual shops where you can find touristy gear (flamenco aprons, T-shirts, bullfighting souvenirs). For ceramics, Triana is where the beautiful azulejos (ceramic tiles) which adorn many Sevillano bars, hotels, churches and private houses are made.

Shopping in Seville isn't complete without a walk over to the old gypsy quarter of Triana, the centre of tile-making. You can watch the craftsmen at work in their studios in C/Alfareros. Tiny cobbled c/Antillano Campos has several shops worth a look, including Ceramica Rocio Triana. Martian and Sevillarte on Sierpes both have good selections. Sevillarte offers more contemporary Matisse-type designs while El Postigo is an indoor craft market with stalls selling ceramics as well as silver, glass and metal wares.

Where to Shop for Accessories

You’ll see a profusion of shops packed with bags of every shape, size and color, along with mantones (triangular fringed shawls, often embroidered), an essential element of your flamenco outfit. San Eloy and Alcaicería de Laloza are good hunting grounds for accessories. Aldebaran in San Eloy has an impressive range of bags. Elena Bernal re famous for its collection of flamenco accessories ie shawls and flowers. The shop opposite has an equally impressive array of bags and jewellery. Elena Berenal is a Sevillano institution. Other shops are Prestigio and Casal.

Where to Shop for Shoes

Seville is heaven for shoe lovers. C/Sierpes, Tetuán and Huelva are all packed with shoe shops. Nicolas, Ziro's, Pilar Burgos, Paco Rodriguez and Camper are some renowned shops famous for their shoe collection. The prices reflect the excellent quality; these shoes are built to last but they aren't cheap.

Where to Shop for Clothes

Women'secret, Victorio and Lucchino, Purificacion Garcia, Adolfo Dominguez have a good collection of men and women's collections that are very wearable and aren't limited to one season. Other shops are Zara, Mango, Homeless, Blanco and Springfield.
