A passport is only required and not a visa by the U.S. and a Canadian citizen while on a trip to Spain.
Timings of Business/Museum/Store
Generally shopping hours are between 9.30 am to 1.30 pm from Monday to Saturday.
Monday to Friday – 4.30 to 8.00pm.
Shopping malls, department stores and supermarkets is open from 10:00am - 9:00pm.
Museums are open on Tuesday to Saturday from 9:00am to 7:00pm.
Sundays and Holidays from 9:00am to 2:00pm.
Currency
In Spain the national currency is Euro €. Credit and Debit cards are widely accepted in restaurants and hotels.
Banking Hours
On weekdays banks are open from 8:30am-2:00pm.
Saturdays 8:30am-1:00pm.
During the summer season most banks close at 1:00pm weekdays and do not open on Saturday.
