My Other Place Pub Taiwan

The name of the pub rings with wisdom when one considers the fact that My Other Place is used by the enervated Taiwanese office goers as a retreat after a hard day’s work. The relaxed ambience in the Pub makes it the only possible place to peel off the unseemly frown worn during the day and fit into a more comfortable smile.

My Other Place was designed by its former owner, who was an Englishman. The English feel of the pub is palpable all around the pub. Also seen among the crowd of faces are many foreigners mixing with the cosmopolitan lot.

The lunch in My Other Place attracts quite a lot of people. Considering the number of office people who lunch here, there are special business lunches for them. These lunches include Steamed Seabass Thai Style, Spicy Linguine with Crab and Chicken Quesadilla.

The approach of evening causes the exodus of people from the restaurant section to the bar. In the period between 2pm to 9 pm the drinks are sold at reduced rates.

My Other Place’s present owner is Ma-Li Tsu. She is known among the regulars for her generosity and friendly nature.
