Ko Samui is Thailand's third largest island located in the Gulf of Thailand. Ko Samui Airport

Ko Samui Airport (USM), previously served by Bangkok Airways, is the main airport. Thai Airways starts operating flights between Bangkok and Ko Samui from April 2008. The advance bookings can also be made and it will cost around 2000-3500 baht.

Flights available from Ko Samui

The airport has daily flights to/ from Phuket, U-Tapao and Singapore along with 4 direct weekly flights from Chiang Mai and twice weekly flights to/ from Hong Kong. Apart from them, there are two daily from Bangkok served by Thai Airways as well as by Berjaya Air from Kuala Lumpur and Firefly from Penang and Subang airport (Kuala Lumpur). If you want cheaper option, you have to fly to Surat Thani. It is well-connected by road and ferry to Ko Samui.
