Khao Sok National Park, Krabi is located in Surat Thani province. This national park is covered with evergreen rainforest, limestone mountains, deep valleys, lakes, caves and wild animals. Khao Sok National Park is positioned between important destinations in southern Thailand like Phuket, Krabi, Khao Lak and Koh Samui. It is about 90 minute drive from Phuket Island.

Khao Sok National Park which is a popular Krabi Wildlife Sanctuary provides shelters to wide variety of animals. It is home to tropical birds, reptiles, insects, animals and plant life. Rafflesia, the world's largest flower which grows to nearly one meter in diameter can be noticed in this park at certain times of year.

You can avail jungle safari in this park. Jungle safari is available from Phuket, Khao Lak or Krabi almost every day. In this park you can get take part in activities like elephant trekking in the jungle and canoeing down the Sok River.

You can canoe down the Sok River and watch birds and other small creepy animals. You can also enjoy elephant trekking in this park.

The mammals found in this park include Bamboo Rat, Barking Deer, Clouded Leopard, Leopard, Mouse deer, Malaysian sunber, Tiger and Gibbon. Khao Sok National Park, Krabi is also home to tree frog, wood pecker, horn bill, python and king cobra. Flora like bamboo tree, pitcher plant, banana tree, fig, liana vines and coconut palm are also found over here.
