Welcome to the Reggae Bar, the biggest, noisiest, oldest and probably the most fun bar on Phi Phi Island- the party island of Krabi. The Reggae Bar measures 25 meters by 75 meters and has become a major name in itself, entertaining people for decades.

The Reggae Bar started in 1997 under the name Harmony Bar. When the contract on the lease came up, the Owner Pi Owen and Wina bought a lease on the side of the hill and made the Reggae.

As the night proceeds, more and more people gather at the Reggae bar, Krabi many of whom come from the smaller bars on the island after they have closed. The bar buzzes with spirited dancing and partying all night long.

There are a few bars concentrated at the northern end of Ao Nang. These are just at the point where the roads head inland. The laid-back attitude, chilled out atmosphere, beer bottles and flowing cocktail are what rule the roost at the Reggae Bar, Krabi every night.

Visitors to the Reggae Bar, Krabi like to drink in the open air on the big comfortable bamboo and cushioned chairs placed outside under the open sky, and light music playing in the background sets the mood for order of cocktails. The nights at Reggae bar are always busy, bustling with crowds: a mix of local Thai people and tourists.

Rave parties are organized at Reggae Bar, Krabi occasionally but often at a different venue away from the main centre on a secluded beach. These parties require boat trips to the place. There is no particular dress code here, a shirt and shorts would do just fine.
