Among the many sporting events in Pattaya, Golf is very popular among both local people and tourists. Pattaya is a golf player's paradise. It consists of sprawling courses which are of international standards. There are 20 golf courses in Pattaya where you can go and also spend a relaxing time.

Both international and domestic Golf tournaments are held in Pattaya. In most golf courses, around 300 baht are charged while best courses charge around 1000 to 2000 baht. Golf in Pattaya is often seen as great tourist entertainment in the area.

Visitors can play golf by joining the International Pattaya Golf Club. You can easily take part in the International Pattaya Golf Club through the Pattaya Golf Society. A membership fee of 200 baht is for 2 years, along with valid photo identity is required to play the tournaments twice weekly in the different courses in the area.

Various golfing equipments such as clubs, shoes can be rented from the sports shops. During weekdays some golf courses need to be booked in advance.
