Khaow Kheow Open Zoo
The Khaow Kheow Open Zoo is one of the popular tourist attractions nearby Pattaya. It ranks among the biggest zoos in Asia and draws lots of travelers. The main objective of the zoo is to conserve wildlife and provide a wonderful habitat for a wide species of animals.Khaow Kheow Open Zoo in Pattaya consists of a natural habitat of forests covering an area of about 1,200 acres. The zoo is located on Highway 7(36) between Pattaya and Bangkok in the Chonburi region. It is the only zoo in Thailand where visitors are allowed to visit both during day and night.
Khaow Kheow Open Zoo Pattaya is home to about 8,000 animals from 300 species. The entry fees for adults are 50 baht, for children are15 baht. If you hire a car, you have to pay 50 baht for night safari. The zoological garden remains open from 8.00am till 18.00pm while for the night safari it remains open from 19.00pm till 21.00pm.
