The airport is served by 10 airlines and also handles cargo. There are 2 terminals, Terminal 1 is for international flights and Terminal 2 is for domestic flights.

Location of Phuket International Airport

The Phuket International Airport located on the southern part of the island at longitude 98° 18' 45" and latitude 08° 06' 38". The airport is connected to downtown by the Thep Kasatri road. The airport is 32 kilometers from Phuket's downtown.

Facilities at Phuket International Airport

The facilities include an Airport Security Center opposite the domestic departure lounge. On the 3rd floor is the Tourist Police Office. The arrivals hall has 4 currency exchange counters and 1 counter in the departure hall. On the 2nd floor of the departure hall is the post and telegraph office.

The 3rd floor has Thai Airways International restaurant serving European and Thai dishes. The departure hall also has a First Aid point. On the 1st floor of the arrival hall is the limousine counter. There are car rental and car park facilities.
