A lot of handicrafts outlets can be found in the Dong Khoi Street near the Bong Sen. These outlets sell all kinds of articles -from tacky tourist junk to authentic handicrafts. Be careful though because some stuff may seem overpriced. Our advice: Haggle!

A lot of art shops in Ho Chi Minh City center display paintings of varying quality. You can buy a reasonably convincing reproduction Van Gogh for peanuts.
