History

The Bach Ma crest derived its name from the "white horse" or the white cloud which covers its peak always. In 1925 the area came into the notice of the French colonial rulers and was proposed to be built up as a conserved forest. Later in 1991 the Bach Ma summit got back its lost glory and the park was named as Bach Ma National Park and one the biggest forest conservation project in the country.
