Reservation problem
Although I had a confirmed booking for four nights, this was not properly processed. On arrival, I was put into another (much lower quality) hotel just up the road for the first night, before being transferred back to the Antis for the remaining three nights. Apart from the inconvenience, the check-in person offered no explanation and no apology.
On check-out, the Antis presented a bill equivalent to four nights at the Antis rate, despite the fact that the first night was spent in much lower quality accommodation. I had to initiate a negotiation and was given a token 20 Euro discount, which was hardly generous. This is why I have given a low score for customer service.
In fact, the hotel is located in a very pleasant part of the old city and the room was clean and comfortable. The WiFi Internet was rather slow, so the hotel is better suited for leisure rather than business. I would consider going back in future, more for leisure than business, but after the current experience, I think I would double-check with the hotel that they have read and processed the reservation correctly. All the other hotels I have booked through Asiarooms have managed the reservations properly, so I hope this was a one-off experience.
