Great value for money!
This hotel can hold it's own against others with a bigger reputation; it is beautifully decorated, the rooms spacious and comfortable, the onsite shops and amenities appropriate, the pool and beach lovely and the staff are courteous, very well trained and friendly. The only downside to this hotel is the lack of free wifi, although there is free internet available in the rooms via the TV. However a hotel of this calibre really should offer guests wifi as standard practice.

... stay at Khalydia Palace Rayhaan by Rotana. Abu Dhabi is an nice, safe and clean city - this is the "desert". Beach or swimming pool, walking or take a cab, gym or spa this hotel, for us, seemed an elegant and very pleasant "oasis". Will sure came back. A big thank you to the hotel personnel, from the housekeepers to the concierge.
The hotel was gorgeous to look at, spotlessly clean, with great service from the hotel staff; the description on Asia Rooms did not do the hotel justice! The outdoor pools were spacious and the proximity to the hotel beach (which was a small, but properly facilitated area) was a bonus - best of both worlds! The area where the hotel was situated was easy to find and there was on site parking; it was peaceful, especially in the early morning when the only sound was the birdsong! The other hotel facilities, such as restaurants, shops and salons were useful additions to the traveller. I travelled with a friend for a weekend, however I feel this hotel would be equally good for a couple or a family as the rooms have some facilities for catering (albeit on a small scale) such as microwave, sink, hob, kettle, fridge. I would have no hesitation in recommending the hotel and hope to stay there when I visit Abu Dhabi again!
Excellent hotel
The staff are outstanding, the hotel is modern, comfortable and conveniently located for the airport. We stayed for a few days with our young son whilst visiting family, I wouldn't necessarily say it is ideal for a family stay although they are very friendly towards children. It's just more suited to couples, individuals or business users.
