Wonderful Arabic inspired hotel with excellent staff
We only stayed at the Miramar for 2 nights for a break from Dubai, we have stayed in a couple of hotels in Fujairah previously and this is by far our favourite. The setting in the mountains is beautiful and the hotel itself has a lovely arabic feel and is very clean and tidy. The main thing that stood out above eveything else here is the staff, everyone was extremley friendly and couldnt do enough for you, i notice that some reviews had issues when checking in, we didnt and were in our room within 20 mins of arrival after having a hot towel and fruitcocktail welcome. We were also fortunate to have an upgrade to an executive room! If you are looking for a peaceful getaway, this is the place, although there is some entertainment in the evening and a night club (but we didnt visit there) you would go here for a relaxing break from the hussle and bustle of Dubai. Even though the hotel was fully booked as we stayed over Easter weekend, it didnt seem full, plenty of dining rooms although i will agree, not enough sun beds around the pool and the usual thing of people saving them and not using them!
All in all a top class mini break definately worth recommending!
