Well, like I said in my last review I was prepared to come back and did. Like last time, if you are squeemish about waking up with a cockroach climbing over your face, maybe this hotel is not for you?
You get what you pay for and it has consistently been the lowest priced Hotel on Asia Rooms for a week or so, which is why I took it.
This hotel is purely a Budget hotel. The rooms are relatively clean but poorly maintained. The shower came apart every time I used it. There were regular sightings of cock roaches, which did not bother me. There is however an Indian nightclub on the mezanaine floor, which bangs out high volume music until about 0100 or later most nights, so I would recommend being on the 3rd floor or above. I was on the 2 nd floor. The 1st floor looks like a drug addicts abode so avoid rooms on this level. It is pretty rough.
Budget hotel. Good if you are not traveling with family. Definitely not suitable for families. Didn't see any kids there. Preferably request for top floor rooms to avoid noise from the 3 night clubs that are housed on the hotel's ground and first floor.
Very good value. Bed like a hammock, but OK. Convenient for the creek area. Noisy from Indian club and Africa club. Great music at Africa club on the ground floor.
Yet again, disadvantage of booking on-line. Rates were attractive but once I arrived at the hotel, late night, tired and sleepless. 1st shock came when the agent at reception told me they had no booking for me, later when he did check me in, I was disappointed with the quality of the room. Not clean, totally under equipped, completely empty refrigerator, not even drinking water in the room.....need I say more??
