Booked double bed room. Got an upgrade with two Queen Size beds and kitchen for self catering puposes. No minibar. Room too big for being cosy and no big bed. Had to pay extra for a dental kit.

It was excellent
Considering rate, it was very excellent. Specially food quaility was very enough to me.
I would like to recommend to visitor who have plan to visit Dubai.

In the middle nothing but close to everything
Good hotel with nice english type bar and italian restaurant 'pregos'.
Staff friendly and room very nice (we were upgraded from a classic to premier room).
Room service was efficient and plenty of taxis to take you out and about - my only comment is that if you wanted to be closer to other hotels etc within the Rotana brand I would stay at the Rotana on the walk at JBR.
