Excellent Hotel - would stay again.
Checked into the Tamani and had to check out as it was absolutely awaful. This hotel was great and what I expect from a Hotel. No negative feedback.

Spacious apartment for the price
Overall a great hotel. Room was as described, very spacious, with decent sized kitchen area. I paid about 360 dirhams a night which seemed very reasonable. The staff were nice, occasionally a little slow to understand what I was after, but very helpful. It was clean, fairly modern and comfortable. I didn't swim, but the pool looked nice, with a view of the city. The location is ok. It is walking distance to mall of the emirates and the associated Metro stop but not a very short walk (approx 10 min). I'd probably stay here again given the value for money. If I could spend more, I'd stay in a nicer location (provided the hotel was as good!).
