Fabulous
We went for a walking weekend and wanted somewhere cosy, with a log fire and reasonably priced. We weren't disappointed with the Village Inn. From the moment we arrived the staff were friendly, courteous and helpful and there were delightful log burning fires. The room was cosy and clean, had a lovely view of Loch Long and each bathroom had a bath, with ample hot water. The bar had a huge array of whiskeys and the drinks were reasonably priced. Dinner was lovely, with a great choice (I'd recommend the Cullin Skink) and again was very reasonably priced. The beds were comfortable and breakfast was excellent. We really couldn't fault the hotel at all and will definietly be returning, this time for longer .....
