Hotel Description

A quirky family owned country house where you are more house guest than hotel guest. The decor is a fusion of east and west and the ambience is more akin to a members' club with no dress codes or formality, a legacy of one of the owners who spent most of her life in the Far East. Breakfast, either in the conservatory or in the garden, is particularly laid back with no time scale giving house guests hours to enjoy watching the neighbouring sheep grazing. Rooms have either super king or king beds, big flat screen TV's and mini bars, and pegs instead of wardrobes. Complimentary tea and coffee are at stations on each floor or in the conservatory where coffee is really straight from the bean!

Situated on the southern outskirts of Bath, with no parking worries, it is in a great location for exploring Bath, Longleat, Stonehenge, Salisbury, Wells and Glastonbury. A bus immediately outside the house goes to Bath and Frome whilst the towns of Westbury, Trowbridge, Warminster and Bradford-on-Avon are all nearby. read more
