There are several good eating places within walking distance, including the historic George, a 14thC inn that now has a fine reputation for food. You can also walk to the Kennet & Avon Canal from here and enjoy the beautiful countryside just outside Bath. We normally take a third deposit at time of booking which can be paid by credit card or £sterling cheque. The balance is payable when you leave. If you have to cancel a booking within two weeks of proposed arrival then we will retain the deposit unless we are able to fill the room.
