This 1804 Georgian mansion set in a tranquil setting of 7 acres, but only 30 minutes from Perth and Dundee, has free WIFI and an excellent local reputation for its food. Originally, the Georgian House was built as a private home in 1800, and although restored in some areas all the Periodic charm has been maintained throughout. Altamount House is set within 6 acres of beautifully peaceful gardens and mature woodlands in the heart of Perthshire and welcomes guests from near or afar. Although only a 5 minute walk from Blairgowrie town centre, the hotel is set in very quiet and secluded grounds, which makes it a perfect venue for Weddings, Conferences or just a romantic break for 2.

Bedrooms are individually styled, comfortably furnished and decorated to compliment the Georgian Period of the house, combined with a few modern touches to ensure a relaxing and enjoyable stay. All Rooms have a private Bathroom/Shower room, toiletries, TV, Coffee/Tea making Facilities and complimentary mineral water, ironing facilities, Free Wi-Fi and are spread across three floors to enable access on the ground floor for guests with walking difficulties.

The Restaurant has an enviable reputation for its traditional and modern cuisine. Frequently changing menus are created by the extraordinary chef and top quality delicious meals which are prepared with great care and attention using only the finest freshest Scottish produce.
