Representing a £1.4m investment, The Queensberry opened as a 15 bedroom hotel in July 2007.
As a listed building on English Street, Dumfries, that has been left unused for a number of years, The Barracuda Group was keen to bring the building back into public use and preserve the hotels listed building consent.

Decor is contemporary yet comfortable with interiors that include, slate, woodblock and stylish carpet flooring. Access to the hotels 15 bedrooms is through the pub/restaurant on the ground floor which trades under the Smith & Jones brand, offering high quality food and premium branded drinks throughout the day and evening to both residents and non-residents.
