The Sheraton Grand was built in 1985. It is modern with a large conservatory area situated on the side with views over the square.
Opened in September 2001 the hotel now boasts one of the finest spa and health clubs in Europe. Spread over six floors, 'One' spa includes a 19-metre ozone friendly swimming pool, aromatic baths, Hydrotherapy pool and 13 treatment rooms offering E'SPA holistic therapies. The health club has sauna and steam rooms as well as a state-of-the-art fitness studio. It should be noted that children up to the age of 17 are only able to use the swimming pool within One Spa between the hours of 3pm - 5pm each da day and also bewteen 8.30am - 9.30am on Saturday and Sunday.
