Hotel Description

All of the 30 bedrooms are individual in character with traditional features. The hotel can be traced to1860 but was an Inn before that, serving the coastal port at the end of the garden. It boasts fantastic views over the river Ythan to the sea. The sea mouth is home to a large seal colony which is part of the Forvie Nature Reserve.

The restaurant boasts fantastic views over the estaury, and has just been awarded 2 AA Rosettes for food making it the only hotel restaurant in Aberdeen to have gained such a high award.

We are immensly proud to offer our guests superb food, great service and a friendly atmosphere. We are almost at the end of our first year here and are looking forward to the summer when more improvements are planned to ensure that the guest experience continues to improve. This is a traditional old building and will appeal to those people who are "Foodies" or guests who are not looking for a modern hotel feel. read more
