The Red Lion is former Coaching Inn situated in the village of Stretham. The pub is centrally situated and is an ideal location for touring the fenlands and the cathedral city of Ely. The pub includes a great local bar, beer garden and a conservatory style restaurant. The Red Lion serves both lunchtime and evening meals and focuses on good quality fresh food. The site has a friendly, traditional country pub feel and has parking for approx 20 cars.

It is a vibrant country pub situated in the village of Stretham 10 miles north of Cambridge and 5 miles south of Ely on the A10. Ely, Cambridge and Newmarket are within easy reach. The pub boasts 11 en suite bedrooms with restaurant and bar. Activities include Sky Sports, quiz nights, outside summer events {pool table and Petanque court} and live music with free Wi-Fi also available. The Red Lion is centrally located and great for both leisure and business trips. The rooms are all en-suite and offer high levels of comfort at a very competitive price rates compared to those in nearby towns and cities.

Restaurant bookings are recommended and can be made by telephone or email us direct. Menus are available via email, fax or post by request .Food is served both lunchtimes and evening everyday and offers a great selection of freshly prepared dishes, many using locally supplied produce. Our breakfast is served 7am – 9am Monday to Friday and 9am – 10 am at weekends and is competitively priced at £4.50 for a light breakfast or £7 for a full cooked breakfast and can be booked upon check in.
