Balmashanner House, an 18th century country home, offers quality family Bed & Breakfast accommodation for tourists and business people on the outskirts of Forfar. Our beautiful but central location will suit leisure, business, anglers, walkers, cyclists, shooting, and wildlife guests alike, we also accept dogs for a small fee. There are many places to walk your dogs within walking distance of our property off the main road allowing you to enjoy this beautiful countryside without any interruption of traffic.Keen golfers have access to the many golf courses including Carnoustie, St Andrews, and locally there is the Forfar, Arbroath, Montrose, Brechin, Edzell (discount vouchers available), Kirriemuir, Letham Grange Golf Clubs who accept day membership.

We have oned kingsize room, one double room, one twin room and one single room, equipped with a either twin, double or king size beds, a table for your breakfast to be served by the window in your room in the morning.The rooms have been recently refurbished to a comfortable standard and all of our rooms enjoy Freeview television and free Wi-Fi internet access for guests with their own laptops.

We serve a selection of evening meals , we also cater for the vegetarian/vegan diets and have an in room menu available for all our guests.
