Warm hospitality; comfortable beds with soft cotton linen; freshly prepared, Free Range, Organic Breakfasts served on the sundrenched terrace in the summer. Evening Meals are served in the oak panelled Dining Room. Pre-order the Romantic Package, Red Roses, Champagne, Thornton's Chocolates and rose petals; then add to the experience by requesting our Romantic Meal for two, by candlelight in front of the open fire.

Two of the bedrooms are Double Suites, with their own, self contained bathrooms, and are decorated and furnished in the flamboyant Victorian and Edwardian period styles. The Georgian Room is a single bedroom, has an en-suite shower room and over looks the garden. Each room has a flat screen Freeview TV/DVD, WiFi broadband, iPod Docking Station Alarm clocks; complimentary Organic tea and coffee making facilities and toiletries; Organic toiletries, dressing gowns and slippers are for that added luxurious experience.

In the early 1900’s the house belonged to a well known local author, Christopher Bush (pseudonym Michael Home) who wrote about his recollections of his childhood in the village of Great Hockham.
