The Nags Head rated an AA 4 Star Inn is situated in Great Missenden, Buckinghamshire. A traditional 15th Century pub & inn positioned along the scenic valley of the River Misbourne in the Chiltern Hills.

Brought to you by the Michaels family, owners of the Bricklayers Arms in Flaunden, Hertfordshires' "Dining Pub of the Year 2009" awarded by the The Good Pub Guide. The Nags Head Inn serves an English and French fusion menu which has now won it several awards, not to mention the only pub featured on the front cover of the much-coveted Michelin Guides' "Eating out in Pubs 2010".

The newly refurbished Nags Head keeps all of its original features, including a large inglenook fireplace and low oak beams, and many new features including a new bar and stylish new furnishings throughout. Finalist in 2011's Publicans, "Food Pub of the Year" and "Accommodation of the Year"

The Nags Head was a favourite of childrens' author, Roald Dahl and is featured in the book "Fantastic, Mr Fox" which is now a Wes Anderson animated movie featuring voice overs from George Clooney, Meryl Streep, Bill Murrey to name but a few. The Nags Head, recently hosted 20th Century Foxs', launch of "Fantastic Mr Fox". A gala lunch held for the world media press where stars and the film producers gave interviews. You can view some of Roald Dahl's limited edition illustrations by Quentin Blake throughout the pub.'
