Once a 19th Century Coaching Inn, The Royal Hotel is now a comfortable family run hotel in the centre of Jedburgh - and ideal base to explore the tranquil countryside of the Scottish Borders. If en-route, Jedburgh is the ideal stop-over point to break your journey, travelling North or South. Why not stay over and enjoy the variety of attractions Jedburgh has to offer - including the 12th Century Abbey, the Castle and Mary Queen of Scots House, all part of the heritage of this historic burgh.

We are also able to arrange local activities for our guests during their stay, including Golf, we offer a unique golfing holiday that allows you to play at any of our 21 local courses along with accommodation. Walking, the new St Cuthberts Way linking Melrose with Lindisfarne passes close to Jedburgh. Serious walkers can enjoy the Cheviot Hills to the South and East where at KIrk Yetholm the Pennine Way ends its 270 mile journey. Packed Lunches and Transport from the Hotel can be arranged. Horse Racing, Kelso Racecourse is only 15 minutes away and if you fancy a day at the races tickets and transport can be arranged.
