Your hosts Paul & Angela would like to welcome you to the Babbling Brook. The Babbling Brook is a family run renovated Victorian house which is a luxurious base for your holiday whilst at the same time maintaining superb views of many of the surrounding mountains. It is only minutes walking distance from the shores of Derwentwater and from the market town of Keswick. Purchased by the present owners in November 2007, the property has undergone total refurbishment both externally and internally and now offers 21st century facilities within the original stone & slate building. From our corner position, you can enjoy stunning views of Skiddaw and Cat Bells to name but a few & with Fitz Park & the river Greta babbling on by opposite, it is the ideal location to stay.
We also have provisions for cycles which are locked away overnight for guests on cycling holidays. We are a friendly guesthouse & are here to help you wherever possible, whether just relaxing or preparing a packed lunch for your days out rambling. A full Cumbrian breakfast awaits all guests to start off your day. Babbling Brook is Non Smoking throughout. A minimum of 2 night stays may apply over bank holidays
