Following the success of base2stay’s first hotel in Kensington, London, the new 106 room base2stay opens this August in the centre of Liverpool, European Capital of Culture 2008, voted the third most exciting city to visit in the UK by Conde Nast Traveller readers for the last two years.

base2stay’s unique hotel concept is an exciting new approach to accommodation concentrating on style, comfort and air conditioned bedrooms. All rooms will offer base2stay's mini-kitchens, spacious bathrooms, free Wi-Fi, and free music, games, and internet on our HD TV's with all movies only £1.95 each. Local and national phone-calls will also be free to all our guests for the first 30 minutes each day..
The carefully restored 1850’s industrial heritage building is being thoughtfully redeveloped, retaining many original heritage features, which have been incorporated into a modern, contemporary design, with a wide variety of room types from super singles to fabulous double height gallery studios as well as our stunning secret garden suite.


The new base2stay Liverpool hotel’s fabulous location, in the heart of the RopeWalks design quarter, has something for everyone.
