Check in was fine and quite friendly. However there was a musty smell in the room, the fan in the toilet was not working, the heater was broken, the wardrobe could not fully open, the light/shaver in the bathroom was broken. The breakfast was very poor. If there is one thing I would expect from a British Hotel is the ability to make tea for breakfast. Tea was poured into a cup at the breakfast table that had just been made. It was the weakest tea I have ever received. When I poured in the milk the concoction was white. I wasn't going to complain to the person that makes the tea about the tea you don't know what you might find in the tea. I mentioned at reception about the broken light/shaver but they never fixed it.
I don't want to say just negative things about this hotel. We arrived at St. Pancras station. The bus route 390 goes from St. Pancras all along Oxford street to very close to the hotel. Also the bus route 148 from close to the hotel will bring you to the Houses of Parliament and a lot of the sights.
