The Tower Hotel is situated on the banks of the River Thames. Next to the Tower of London and Tower Bridge, our bedrooms, apartments and suites offer superb views. Though well served by buses and Tower Hill underground station which is just five minutes walk, the business areas of the city and the world trade centre are easily accessible on foot.
The standard rooms are medium sized and decorated in mainly neutral colours. Most have lovely views over Tower Bridge and the Thames or St Katherine's dock. They are in good condition as are the bathrooms.
The lobby is a definite feature of the hotel being large and beautifully decorated with cream marble throughout, it is very open-plan with plenty of seating and an attractive central staircase leading to other public areas.
The hotel has two restaurants, a traditional carvery on the first floor decorated in warm English style, and a more modern, lighter bistro-style restaurant on the ground floor with full length windows overlooking the Thames.
Extensive facilities are designed to meet all leisure and business needs. The City Club floor is complemented by gym amenities and the hotel boasts an exciting range of dining experiences, including the Haagen- Dazs Café which serves premier ice cream, snacks and beverages.
Business guests will appreciate our early check-in and easy access to the financial district, as well as the hotel's 19 air-conditioned meeting rooms. Also, close to the Tower Hotel is ExCel, a prime location for exhibitions and events, including Schroders International Boat Show in January 2004. Car parking and a water taxi to nearby Canary Wharf are available at an additional charge.
