Abbey is most centrally located B&B in Derry city. Northwest best guesthouse award winner for 2004 and 2005. 2 mins walk from the excellent bars and restaurants. Famous city walls, theatre and shopping malls, swimming and leisure facilities, cathedrals. Derry is the only remaining walled city in Ireland and is one of the finest examples of walled cities in Europe. The walls give access to some spectacular views of the city and the River Foyle. Admission is free and you can walk the walls any time of the day or night. Only 2 minutes walk from the B&B Ireland is known for its craic, and with the many pubs and clubs in Derry you will see plenty of it. Abbey B&B is only 2 minutes walk from the city centre where you will be spoilt for choice for entertainment. The pubs range from traditional Irish to modern establishments and are all worth a visit or two. All rooms are en suite with TV and Abbey is the only City Centre B&B with Catagory 1 Disabled access and disabled Bathroom facilities on the ground floor. read more
